Do I need to be vaccinated to attend events/performances?

The RCC Fine and Performing Arts Division understands the importance of safeguarding the health and safety of our artists, staff, students, and patrons. With that in mind, all visitors 12 and older, will need to provide proof of vaccination in order to enter district buildings. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation, and we look forward to seeing you at the theatre!

Do I need a parking permit to park on campus for a performance?

Most Performance Riverside events will take place on RCCD property.  As such, all event parking will adhere to the district’s  parking procedures as defined here – RCC Parking and Directions

Parking permits are required to park on campus or on district property.  Vehicles without permits may be subject to citation.  Permits can be acquired through kiosks located in the parking lots or by using the free ParkMobile app for Apple and Android devices

When parking on campus or other district locations, patrons should park in WHITE spaces only. If you park in a YELLOW space, you risk citation.  ADA parking is available at all locations.

Where are the Music Events held?

Our Music Department events are held in RCC’s Coil School for the Arts Concert Hall at 3890 University Avenue, in downtown Riverside, just off Market Street next to RCC’s Culinary Academy.

Is there parking at the Coil Concert Hall?

Yes, there is an RCCD parking structure immediately to the right of the Coil School for the Arts on University Avenue. Parking permits are required. There also may be city parking available for little to no cost if you don’t mind walking a block or two.

My companions have difficulty walking, can I drop them off in front of the building?

For safety on our inner campus, RCC no longer allows the public to drive in and drop people off in front of Landis. However, for most of our large performing arts events, RCC provides those with difficulty walking a free golf cart ride from Parking Lot C or the Terracina parking structure to Landis and back again.

When attending events at Coil Concert Hall, passengers can be dropped off in the loading/unloading zone directly in front of the building on University Ave.
